Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers Revenge, known in Japan as 'Vanpaia Hantā Dākusutōkāzu Rebenji', is the second game in the Darkstalkers fighting game series. Developed and released by Capcom in 1995 for arcades, it introduced significant gameplay changes from its predecessor. Notable features include chain combos, a choice between normal gameplay or auto-blocking, and the ability to stock up on Special gauges. The game added new characters like Donovan Baine and Hsien-Ko, and made previous bosses Huitzil and Pyron playable. This title is a testament to Capcom's innovation in the fighting game genre during the mid-90s``【oaicite:3】``.
