Hopping Mappy, released by Namco in 1986, is a sequel to the original Mappy. This arcade game had players controlling Mappy, the police mouse, on a pogo stick, navigating through levels to collect items while avoiding enemies. Its unique pogo-jumping mechanic added a new twist to the Mappy gameplay.
