Gunlock, also known as 'RayForce' in Japan, is a vertical-scrolling shooter developed by Taito in 1994. Set in a futuristic world, players control a spacecraft fighting against a rogue computer system. It introduced a unique lock-on laser system, adding depth to the shoot 'em up gameplay. Its impressive 2.5D graphics and engaging storyline were highly praised.
